The program features Carissimi’s expressive and poignant oratorio, Jephte, followed by Charpentier’s harmonically rich and introspecive mass Assumpta est Maria. Bach’s deeply moving cantata "Gottes Zeit ist die allerbeste Zeit" brings the proceedings to a moving conclusion.
