Lexington Symphony’s season opens on Sunday afternoon, September 23 with a program in honor of Lexington’s 300th anniversary. In addition, the symphony will perform two exciting works of music dedicated to the love of place and of the city; Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Jennifer Higdon‘s City Scape and Ralph Vaughan Williams’ impressionistic “London” symphony.
