I attended the 7:30 pm show on Dec. 21 and found it to be very enjoyable. I was looking forward to seeing the "urban" version of the Nutcracker and the variety of dancing. It was fun! From the singers at the beginning, the awesome tap dancer and percussion, the magical snow scene dance (my favorite!), the beautiful ballerina artistry, the colorful costumes and the general good nature of all of the cast. Beautiful! Thank you to everyone who works so hard and cooperatively to make this show happen. I was surprised to get lower orchestra seats when I thought they were going to be upper orchestra. It was my first time in this theatre and I was hoping my view would be good. And it was. I think every seat there is actually a good view. What I liked least was the backdrop for the second act for the dances from around the world. It felt a bit distracting in its color scheme and layout. The jester was fun with its antics and flexible movements, although sometimes a little bit much. Collapse
