The choreography of Jirí Kylián returns to Boston with Boston Ballet's All Kylián. A night of 3 company premieres, considered some of Kylián’s most iconic ballets, feature his potent, spellbinding vision. WINGS OF WAX, an allegorical journey danced beneath the branches of an inverted tree, opens the program. Next is TAR AND FEATHERS, an avant-garde masterpiece, featuring an elevated pianist in performance with the dancers. The evening culminates with SYMPHONY OF PSALMS, a spiritual ballet set to a Boston Symphony Orchestra commissioned Stravinsky score.
