    The only thing certain about Britten’s chamber masterpiece is its haunting beauty.
    As for the rest, what do you think happened? In honor of Benjamin Britten's centennial, NEC's Opera Department presents Britten's hauntingly beautiful chamber opera, with a libretto by Myfawny Piper based on the novel by Henry James. This fully staged production will be conducted by Douglas Kinney Frost, directed by Joshua Major, and with scenic design by Cameron Anderson. 

    The production continues Sunday February 3 at 3pm, Monday February 4 and Tuesday February 5 at 8pm.
